Lotte manager Larry Sutton expressed his excitement about the recent signing of Goo Hae-sung.
“He’s a very big guy, and in batting practice, 먹튀검증 he had a short, powerful swing,” Sutton said before the game against NC at Sajik Stadium on the 23rd.
Lotte announced the signing of Kook Hae-sung the day before. Kook made his professional debut as a Doosan Developmental Player in 2008 and played for the same team until 2021.
After the 2021 season, he exercised his Futures League free agent (FA) status, but was unable to find a new team. The Futures League FAs were the last to be eliminated.
Kook continued his career by playing for the Seongnam MacPies in the independent league. Lotte was the team that reached out to him. “As a switch-hitter who can produce long balls, we thought he would help us strengthen our outfield depth and utilize our pinch-hitting resources,” the club explained.
Sutton said, “I don’t know when he’ll debut in the first team yet, but he’s definitely going to help Lotte,” adding, “He’s been working very hard. I’ve seen him work hard in training.”
The addition of Kook Hae-sung to the first team will add to Lotte’s depth. “We have some players with nagging injuries,” Sutton said, “so for now, we plan to use Kook as an outfielder. We still need to think about the batting order.”
