‘New Empress of Ice’ Kim Min-seon breaks the ‘Lee Sang-hwa record’ again at the Winter Sports Festival… 500m followed by 1000m record

Kim Min-seon (24, Uijeongbu City Hall), who has been reborn as the ‘God Empress’, broke the living legend Lee Sang-hwa’s record two days in a row at the National Winter Sports Festival.

Kim Min-seon won the women’s 1000m speed skating general section at the 104th National Winter Games held at the Taereung International Skating Rink in Seoul on the 28th with a new competition record of 1:16:35. Kim Min-seon also took first place in the women’s 500m the previous day with a time of 37.90, exceeding her previous record held by Lee Sang-hwa (38.10). She even proved her ‘post-idealization’ modifier by reaching the top with her new record in the 1000m.
