Myongji University won its 2023 KUSF University Basketball U-League away game against Chosun University 96-76, a 20-point victory, at Chosun University Gymnasium on Thursday.
Myeongji University snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 5-for-5, moving from a tie for sixth place to sole possession of first place. 스포츠토토 Jang Hyun-seo (33 points, five rebounds, six assists) led the team’s offense with a 100 percent (12-of-12) two-point shooting percentage, while June Harrigan (18 points, 13 rebounds, six assists) recorded a double-double.

It was also disappointing that So Jun-hyuk was held scoreless. At the end of the first quarter, the score was 23-20.
Myeongji University pulled away from Chosun University in the second quarter. Led by Harrigan and Lee Min-cheol, they dominated the offerings battle and widened the gap to double digits. With Jang Hyun-seo and Jun Harrigan taking turns showing off their firepower, Myungji ended the second quarter with a 45-35 lead.
Myeongji University didn’t let up in the third quarter. So Jun-hyuk poured in 10 points, including one three-pointer, while Jang Hyun-seo continued to pile up points through a combination of driving to the basket and free throws. Myungji University failed to contain Lee Young-woong, but ended the third quarter with a 74-58 lead, thanks to So Jun-hyuk and Jang Hyun-seo combining for 19 points.
The fourth quarter belonged to Myungji Temple. Myeongji University committed a series of mistakes in the middle of the fourth quarter, but quickly pulled away from Joseon thanks to an even scoring distribution. At the end of the fourth quarter, Jang Hyun-seo made another free throw after a Eurostep, extending the gap to 22 points. It was a wedge score that signaled the end of Myeongji University’s three-game losing streak.
