Ten teams have announced their starting 스포츠토토 pitchers for the opening day of the second half of the KBO season. There were also changes to the first team roster.
Doosan added ace Raul Alcantara to its roster on Tuesday. Alcantara will start against the Gwangju KIA on the 21st. The game will be Doosan’s attempt to win 10 straight games. If Doosan wins, it will set a new record for the longest winning streak in a debut season for a Doosan manager and tie the record for the longest winning streak in a debut season for a Korean manager. It would also tie the club’s third-longest winning streak since 2008 and 2018.
KIA recalled Mario Sanchez. Sanchez made a big splash with his fake squat and double-kicking against KT Suwon on Sept. 9. KIA is also showing signs of becoming a dark horse as they regrouped late in the first half. The team removed infielder Hong Jong-pyo and pitcher Park Jun-pyo from the first team and plans to bolster its lineup in time for the 21st game.
Lotte also removed outfielder Park Hyung-joon from the first team. They will open the second half with ace Charlie Barnes. Kiwoom will also start Ahn Woo-jin, who struggled in the first half of the season. In addition, Merrill Kelly and Kim Kwang-hyun will start the second half for LG and SSG, respectively, while Hanwha’s Ricardo Sanchez and NC’s Eric Peddy will start for Daejeon, and KT’s William Cuevas and Samsung’s David Buchanan will start for Daegu. This is the second opening.
