Actor Kim Soo-ro (real name Kim Sang-jung, 53) has resigned as the owner of English soccer team Chelsea Rovers FC.
“Owner Kim Soo-ro has left the club,” Chelsea Rovers FC announced on its official social media accounts on Tuesday.
“Due to the need to relocate and expand 토토사이트 the stadium for future promotion goals and participation in the FA VASE, the club has been handed over to a local management team without a sale price in order to attract more local support,” the club explained. The club’s chairman, Lee Jung-woo, will continue to run the club in a dual role as owner.”
Kim became the owner of Chelsea Rovers FC, a club in the 13th division of English soccer, in 2019. His management of the team was broadcast on KBS 2TV’s “Racha Cha Mansoo” from June to October of that year.
Founded in 2018, Chelsea Rovers won the 13th division in the 2021-2022 season and secured promotion to the 12th division.
